Math time table

This term room 2 made a time tables wall you can pick up any one you like. We did a test on times tables and  room 2 students got 150 questions right out of 300!
If we get more then 300 we get a chocolate party
yeah! So now we are busy working hard to learn our times tables! We will update you on the chocolate party soon...it might not be what you think it is!

Milk in School

At Nayland Primary we are starting Milk In Schools today. We watched a video yesterday on how Milk in School works.

5 days a week after lunch we will each get a small drink of milk. We have to drink the box dry by tilting the box up and putting the straw in the corner of the box and slurping it dry. After we have slurped the box dry we fold the box up to a neat wee package and then we put it into the recycling bin.

One time a week the milk man or lady will bring the school quite a few boxes of milk and they will take the old boxes of empty milk away and make it into books for children like us in Thailand.

I hope to see how many people like the milk and how many people think it could be better also
the look on there faces

Science Fair

Yesterday room 2 started their science boards and began making them colourful. Also some of room 2 started their science tests for their projects. Room 2 is having lots of fun with their really cool science projects. Some people are writing up their instructions and their results, others are still testing.  We have been doing our science fair investigations since the beginning of term 3. We started to write up our results and research on our draft write ups.We also took some photos of our science tests and and then we will put some of the best photos on our boards. These are some of the photos we have got of the work in progress science boards.

Today Conor in our class spoke about rifle shooting with his Dad in the weekend. He told us there's a voucher in the back of the Entertainment Book that gets you in for the price of 2 for 1!

He showed us some targets that he and his dad were shooting, and some bullet shells.

He shot all types of guns like a 22, a 223, a shot gun, the red thing (shown above) is a shot gun bullet shell. The middle one is a 223 and the small one is a 22.
The orange disc is somthing you shoot using a shot gun.
The 2 pieces of card are the targets they shot at.

Thanks Conor for sharing about your great adventure with your Dad.
