Today for shared writing we were writing about Luke's trip to the yacht club. We are revisiting recount writing this term before we complete our end of year sample, to demonstrate all of what we've been learning this year!
Today we were looking at paragraphing and reminding ourselves about some reasons to change paragraphs. These are:
- a new character comes along
- a new event happens
- a new idea is introduced
- the setting changes
- a new person is speaking
- time moves forward (or backwards)
- the 'camera' moves
- Now hit enter/return! -
